With the release of the highly awaited iPhone 17 series just a few months away, speculations about its design are in full swing. The latest leaks from renowned leaker Majin Bu have unveiled CAD renders of the possible designs for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, and a rumored model called the “iPhone 17 Air.” These renders showcase a significant change in camera design, resembling that of Google’s Pixel lineup with rectangular camera bars.
The renders reveal that both the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models will feature elongated camera bars stretching across their entire upper bodies while maintaining their signature rounded edges. The iPhone “Air” also follows suit with a similar design but only one rear camera lens. On the other hand, the standard iPhone 17 model is expected to stick to its current design with minimal changes.
While Majin Bu has a good track record as a leaker, it’s worth noting that some of his previous information has been proven incorrect. However, these renders align with other recent leaks from sources like Jon Prosser and Ice Universe. In fact, earlier this year Majin Bu shared an image claiming to be part of Apple’s upcoming lineup featuring an “iPhone Air” model with a pill-shaped camera bar similar to Google Pixel.
Rumors about an “iPhone Air” have been circulating for months now, describing it as a slimmer addition to Apple’s new series akin to Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge. But as always with leaks, nothing is confirmed until Apple officially announces it at their annual September event.
With so much buzz surrounding these potential designs and inspirations taken from popular tech giants like Google and Samsung, we can’t wait for Apple to unveil their official masterpiece later this year.
